Purpose

This policy guides the adjustment of tuition and fees due to students withdrawing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock or dropping courses at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Policy

Any student who officially withdraws or drops a course from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock shall be entitled to an adjustment of tuition and fees, as follows:

  1. If a student withdraws or drops a course, prior to the first day of class, the tuition and fees associated with that course will be adjusted at 100%.
  2. Students who withdraw or drop courses through the Office of Records and Registration or online will have their accounts adjusted according to the chart below.
  3. Policies of the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees that provide special tuition and fee refund procedures will supersede LR Policy 303.3. This includes, but is not limited to, Board of Trustees policies governing tuition and fees for graduate assistants as well as veterans and their dependents.
