Argos is a useful reporting tool that allows UA Little Rock to meet most of its reporting needs. The pages that follow will assit you in understanding and using the Argos reports that pertain to and are provided by the Office of Records and Registration
To use this tool, you must first be granted access. Review the online training links and the request for access form.
Once you have been granted access you can log into Argos:
- Go to evisions.ualr.edu
- You will be prompted to enter a username and password. The username will be your NetID and password will be the password associated with your NetID.
- Once this information is entered you will be able to access any report that you have been granted access to. A comprehensive list of Argos reports utilized or provided by the Office of Records and Registration can be found in the menu on the left-hand side of this screen. If you have any questions or concerns about these reports, please contact the Office of Records and Registration.
The Final Grades Submitted report will allow you to view all final grades that have been submitted in a department that you have access to view.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:
- UALR
- Campus Reports
- Student
- General
- Double-click on Final Grades Submitted
To run the report you will need to select a term from the drop-down menu. Once you have done this the report will list all of the departments that you have access to view. Select the department you wish to review and the report will display the following information:
- Each course offered by the chosen department
- The students in those courses
- The final grade the student received for the course listed
The Student Enrollment by Department report will list every student for every class in a department you have permission to view.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:
- UALR
- Campus Reports
- Student
- General
- Student Enrollment by Department
- Double-click on List Students
Once you have opened the report, you will need to select the term you wish to view from the drop-down menu. After you have selected your term you will be prompted to select your department from the list. You may select multiple colleges by:
- Dragging your mouse over several colleges
- Hold Shift while using the arrow keys to move up and down the list
- Hold the Ctrl key as you select individual colleges with your mouse
- You may review only the courses that are open for registration
Once you have made your selections, the report will generate a list of students that you may view. To generate the list, maximize the window and select one of the three options at the top right of your screen: the blue disk will save the report in a .csv file on your computer, the white letter will email a copy of the report to a specified email, and the green bolt will save the report and open it in a .csv file for your viewing.
This quickview displays the following information: Registration Confirmation, Hours Enrolled, Classification, Last Term Registered, Active Application, and any Registration Holds. All information, not including holds, is based on the term selected.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Double-click on Student Information (QV)
To run this report, you will first need to enter the student’s Trojan ID number or social security number in the Enter Student ID field. You will then need to select a term from the drop-down menu. The student’s name should appear at this time. If a different name than you wanted or no name should appear then check the Enter Student ID field for errors.
Once you have selected your term, the following information will populate:
- Registration confirmation information: If the student has confirmed registration for the term you selected then their registration confirmation number will be provided.
- Enrollment: The number of hours they have enrolled for the selected term will be shown.
- Classification: A student’s classification will be displayed (i.e, Freshman, Sophomore, etc.)
- Last Term Registered: The last time that the student took courses at UA Little Rock will be displayed.
- Graduation Application: If the student applied for graduation then that information will appear in the first, white box.
- Registration Holds: Any and all registration holds will appear in the second white box.
This quickview lists restrictions that exists at the catalog level in Banner. Restrictions found in this datablock are those being enforced by Banner. These restrictions are based on the term selected.
In order to access this report you will need to expand the following folders:

To populate the fields of this quickview you will:
- Select a term from the drop-down menu
- Select a subject from the drop-down menu
- Select a course from the drop-down menu
The fields below the drop-down menus will auto-populate the information that you requested. It is important to keep in mind that the information provided will only be valid for the term that you selected. It is also important to note that the fields (with the exception of the Pre-Requisite and Co-Requisite fields) will list the requirements a student must meet in order to register for a course.
The Major Listings by Filters report will allow you to review information about students that you have access to view. This information includes Major, Program and GPA information as well as other details.
In order to access this report you will need to expand the following folders:

- Double-click on List Student’s Information
After you double-click on List Student’s Information, you will have a pop-up screen in which you can select criteria. The current term will automatically be populated. Select the term to work with from the drop-down menu and select your students’ enrollment status (the default setting for enrollment will return students that are both enrolled and unenrolled). You can also select department.
You then have the option to further restrict your list of students by setting a range for GPA and overall earned hours.
Once you have made your selections the report will generate a list of students that you may view. To generate the list, maximize the window and select one of the three options at the top right of your screen: the blue disk will save the report in a .csv file on your computer, the white letter will email a copy of the report to a specified email, and the green bolt will save the report and open it in a .csv file for your viewing. This list will also provide the following information about your students:
- Student ID
- Student Name
- Enrollment Status (Based on the current term)
- Level
- Primary and Secondary Programs
- Primary and Secondary Catalogue Terms
- Degrees Awarded
- Email Address
- Hours earned at UA Little Rock
- Total hours earned
- Cumulative GPA
The Major Contact Info report will provide useful contact and major information on students that you have access to view.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Student

- Major Contact Info
- Double-click on List Student’s Information
The report will automatically populate the current term. You will then need to select a term to work with from the drop-down menu, select your students’ enrollment status (the default setting for enrollment will return students that are both enrolled and unenrolled), and select your students’ admit status (the default setting for admit status will return students that are both fully admitted and pre-admitted).
Once you have made your selections the report will generate a list of students that you may view. To generate the list, maximize the window and select one of the three options at the top right of your screen: the blue disk will save the report in a .csv file on your computer, the white letter will email a copy of the report to a specified email, and the green bolt will save the report and open it in a .csv file for your viewing.
Once you have made your selections the report will generate a list of students that you may view. This list will also provide the following information about your students:
- Student ID
- Student Name
- Address
- Level
- Catalogue Terms
- Degree
- Major
- Email Address
This quick view report lists every rule in Banner that a course you select is a part of. It also lists all other courses that your particular course meets a pre-requisite for.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Double-click on Degree Audit: Course used (QV)
To use this report:
- Select the term you wish to work with from the menu
- Select the course you wish to view
- Examine the information that autopopulates in the two tables
- The CAPP Areas/Rules will list the following infromation:
- The area that has your course in it
- The starting term that an area first started using your course as a requirement
- The rule code that has your course in it
- The rule that has your course in it
- The starting term that a rule first started using your course as a requirement
- The Banner Enforced Pre-Requisite will list the following infromation:
- The subject and course number of a course that has your course as a pre-requisite
- The starting term that an course first started using your course as a requirement
- The CAPP Areas/Rules will list the following infromation:
This quickview list will list the changes made to a student’s degree or program. This report is restricted to those who have the necessary permissions to view the student in question.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Double-click on Adjustments Made (QV)
To use this form, enter the student’s ID in the appropriate field. Any adjustments that have been made to the student’s program or area will automatically populate in their respective fields. Additional changes (such as course substitutions or waivers) will populate in the last field.
This quickview report informs the user of who, in their college, has been granted privileges to view or approve graduation applications or students’ request to change their major and/or minor.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Double-click on Approver List (QV)
To use this report:
- Select a college from the drop-down menu
- Choose the level (Graduate or Undergraduate) that you wish to look at from the drop-down menu
- Select Graduation Application or Change Major/Minor from the final drop-down menu
The table will auto-populate with information on individuals who have some type of access to these student requests. It will provide the ID, name and title of the individual and will state if they have viewing and/or approval access at the college, department and program level.
This report will allow you to view detailed information on overrides given to students that you have permission to view.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Student Course Overrides
- Double-click on Student Course Overrides
To use this form, select the term you wish to view from the drop-down menu. The following information will automatically populate for all students that have been given an override and that you have access to view:
- Student ID
- Student’s Name
- Term
- CRN for the course that the student received an override for
- Subject/Course/Section Number for the course that the student received an override for
- Desctription of the override that the student received
- The date that the override was given
The General Student quickview report gives detailed information about students that you have access to view.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:
- UALR
- Campus Reports
- Student
- General
- Double-click on General Student
The report will automatically populate the current term. You will then need to select a term to work with from the drop-down menu and select your students’ enrollment status (the default setting for enrollment will return students that are both enrolled and unenrolled).
Once you have made your selections, the report will generate a list of students that you may view. This list will also provide the following information about your students:
- Student ID
- Student Name
- Classification
- Primary and Secondary Programs
- Primary and Secondary Catalogue Terms
- Degrees Awarded
- Enrollment Status (Based on the current term)
- Confidentiality Status
Once the list has populated, you then have the option of selecting a student from that list. Once you select a student the report will populate the following information:
- Each class the student took at UA Little Rock:
- The CRN / Subject Code / Course Number / Section / Title for the course taken
- Hours received for each course
- Grade received for each course
- GPA from the last term that the student attended as well as their academic standing at the end of that term
- Overall GPA for the student
- List of every course the student is currently enrolled in and the term in which the course is being taken
The Transfer Credit Equivalency report was created to view how UA Little Rock accepts transfer work from other institutions.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:
- UALR
- Campus Reports
- Student
- General
- Transfer Credit Equivalency
- Double-click on Transfer Credit Equivalency
To run this report, select a school from the drop-down menu and then select the course that was or will be taken. In the Equivalent table it will show you the course you selected, how it will transfer to UA Little Rock and how many credit hours will transfer.
You may limit your search to a specific subject and course number. To do this:
- Select the school you wish to research
- Choose the subject you are interested in from the Subject drop-down menu
- Enter the Course Number if you know it
The Dean’s List report was created to allow the user to see which students, that they have permission to view, was on the Dean’s List during the term that they have selected. The report also provides the students’ GPA for that term as well as some basic contact information.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Student

- Double-click on Dean’s List
To use this report, choose a term from the drop-down menu. After the term has been selected you will be given the following information:
- Student ID
- Student’s first and last name
- Student’s primary and secondary (if applicable) programs
- Student’s confidentiality status
- Student’s email address
- Student’s physical address
- Student’s GPA for the term selected
The Dean’s List report also has an option to draft a letter to each student that you view in the report. An example letter has been created that can be modified to suit your individual needs.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Double-Click Example: Dean’s List Letter
You will then select Edit Report and Design to make the needed changes to your letter.
The Class Restrictions report is a snapshot of the courses that have been created and their enrollment status. This report will also list any class restrictions that are associated with the courses in question.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:
- UALR
- Campus Reports
- Student
- General
- Scheduling
- Double-click on Class Restrictions
To generate a report:
- Select the term you wish to review
- Select a part of term. Note: Even if there is only one option available you will need to select a part of term. You will not be permitted to proceed until you do.
- Select a College. You may select multiple colleges by:
- Dragging your mouse over several colleges
- Hold Shift while using the arrow keys to move up and down the Restrictions
- Hold the Ctrl key as you select individual colleges with your mouse
- Select a department. Multiple departments may be selected by using the methods mentioned above
- Choose your course status.
- You may review only the courses that are open for registration
- Only cancelled courses
- Both open and cancelled courses
- You may check the box under Course Status to display only courses that have no room assigned to them.
- You may also view a particular course’s meeting time and instructor by selecting a course from the Quick View table
- You will then select Next in the lower, right-hand corner of your screen to preview, save, email or launch the report.
The Web Courses report is a snapshot of the online courses that have been created and their enrollment status. This report will generate every detail about online courses and is the preferred method of taking an audit of the online courses that have been created for a term.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

- Scheduling
- Double-click on CSV File–Web Courses
To generate a report you will need to:
- Select the term you wish to review
- Select a part of term. Note: Even if there is only one option available you will need to select a part of term. You will not be permitted to proceed until you do.
- Select a College. You may select multiple colleges by:
- Dragging your mouse over several colleges
- Hold Shift while using the arrow keys to move up and down the list
- Hold the Ctrl key as you select individual colleges with your mouse
- Select a department. Multiple departments may be selected by using the methods mentioned above
- Choose your course status.
- You may review only the courses that are open for registration
- Only cancelled courses
- Both open and cancelled courses
- You may check the box under Course Status to display only courses that have no room assigned to them.
- You may also view a particular course’s meeting time and instructor by selecting a course from the Quick View table

To generate a report you will need to do the following:
- Select the term you wish to review
- Select a part of term. Note: Even if there is only one option available you will need to select a part of term. You will not be permitted to proceed until you do.
- Select a College. You may select multiple colleges by:
- Dragging your mouse over several colleges
- Hold Shift while using the arrow keys to move up and down the list
- Hold the Ctrl key as you select individual colleges with your mouse
- Select a department. Multiple departments may be selected by using the methods mentioned above
- Choose your course status.
- You may review only the courses that are open for registration
- Only cancelled courses
- Both open and cancelled courses
- You may check the box under Course Status to display only courses that have no room assigned to them.
- You may also view a particular course’s meeting time and instructor by selecting a course from the Quick View table

The Graduation Argos report will provide detailed information concerning the graduation status of students that you are permitted to view.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:

Once you have opened the report, you will be prompted to select the term you wish to research from the drop-down menu. You will then need to select your department from the list provided. After you have selected your department you will need to select one of the following statuses:
- Awarded
- Declined (in Banner)
- Declined (in BOSS)
- No Decision
After you have selected your graduation status, you will then need to select one of the Banner statuses:
- All
- In Banner
- Not in Banner
The information for any students you have access to view will then populate. The information will include:
- Students’ address
- Home and work phone numbers
- Information on the degree sought
- Honors
- Application activity dates and time
The Graduation minus ONGA Argos report will provide detailed information concerning the graduation status of students that you are permitted to view.
To access this report, you will need to expand the following folders:
- UALR
- Campus Reports
- Student
- General
- Double-click on Graduation minus ONGA
Once you have opened the report, you will be prompted to select the term you wish to research from the drop-down menu. You will then need to select your department from the list provided. Only departments that you are associated with will populate in this list. Please Note: Even if only one department appears in this list you will still need to select that department in order to proceed. After you have selected your department you will need to select one of the following statuses:
- Awarded
- Declined
- Pending
The information for any students you have access to view will then populate. The information will include:
- Students’ address
- Home and work phone numbers
- Information on the degree sought
- Honors
