Understanding Politics

UP_32016 is starting out to be a very interesting election year. We have Insiders and Outsiders vying for office, changing campaign finance and primary rules, and social media taking control of the message. It’s hard to keep track of what’s going on. That’s why UA Little Rock University Television is jumping into the fray with a new program, Understanding Politics.

Hosts Dr. Joseph Giammo and Dr. Greg Schufeldt from the UA Little Rock Department of Political Science and Cheryl Hellmann from UALRTV discuss how our system of government works. Our first show looks at the Caucus-Primary process and how delegates are allocated.  You can expect future shows on polling, money in politics, debate structures, family dynasties, and political parties.

Join us once a month for Understanding Politics – where we try to explain the politics behind our politics.
