Admission for Military Students

UA Little Rock is honored to be a Purple Heart University. We know that each military member has a unique set of educational goals and we want to help you meet those goals.

All undergraduate military members apply for admission through the online application. All honorably discharged Veterans and active duty military students, (i.e., active-duty, guard, and reserve) are eligible to receive a waiver of the $40 admissions application fee.

Getting Started

  1. Apply for admission. Make sure to check the box that signifies you are a military student. If you indicate you are a veteran or active duty student, you will receive a link to the Application Fee Waiver Request Form. Submit this form online along with an electronic copy of your DD214, your current military CAC (ID), or your military orders as an attachment, or send the documents by email to the UA Little Rock Admissions Office.
  2. Submit official copies of military transcripts (CCAF or JST), CLEP exam transcripts, and/or transcripts from other institutions to:
