AAFI Presents: A Discussion on “I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World for Whiteness”

November 2, 2021at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

On Tuesday, November 2nd from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., discover how snippets of Austin Channing Brown’s recollection of her journey in a racially complex world are similar or different from your current journey as a college student.

In this discussion presented by the African American Female Initiative (AAFI) and virtually hosted by Dr. Nechelle Clinton, professional mentor for SADI and Assistant Director for Campus Living, participants will discuss what ways they have navigated through some of the situations presented in Brown’s book, I’m Still Here, Black Dignity In A World Made for Whiteness.

Zoom information will be updated as we get closer to the event.
