According to the Faculty Handbook, section 7, 50% of each college’s faculty members are required to attend and participate in the procession at each commencement.
Faculty are expected to wear academic regalia at commencement.
The Fall 2024 Commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, December 14, in the Jack Stephens Center.
The 9:30 a.m. ceremony will feature undergraduate and graduate students from all three colleges and Bowen Law School.
Remember that parking is an issue on campus and carpooling is recommended. The Provost’s Office will distribute a limited number of parking passes to each dean’s office. Please remind your faculty to park in Lot 16 and enter through the Cooperative Extension entrance.
