Stand Out in Your Field with IT

Knowing your field of study inside and out isn’t enough these days – you need to be able to communicate your ideas effectively using the latest communications tools at your disposal. We’re talking web publishing, cloud-based technology, spreadsheet and relational database skills, and business concepts.

Enter the Information Technology (IT) program in the George W. Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (CSTEM). It empowers undergraduate students in any major to master the technical skills expected in any industry.

Created with input from leaders of central Arkansas companies, this cross-disciplinary program includes problem-solving exercises and team projects with technical and communication components. As a student, you will learn soft skills, take personality tests and learn how to apply that knowledge in the workplace, as well as learn which career choices best fit with your background.
