UA Little Rock Chancellor Andrew Rogerson has appointed Bob Denman to serve as interim athletic director for UA Little Rock Athletics while a national search is conducted for a new director.

Denman, vice chancellor emeritus of university advancement, previously served as interim athletic director from September 2014 until January 2015 when Conque was hired as the new athletic director. Conque is leaving later this month to be the athletic director at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. 

Denman joins the university Aug. 12.
