UA Little Rock to Hold New Student Orientation on Aug. 11

The UA Little Rock New Student Orientation for the Fall 2022 semester will be held Aug. 11.

Orientation is a great way to prepare students for the upcoming semester. It helps them get familiarized with campus, learn more about the resources offered to them, and socialize with other students. The event is required for new students and offers several activities throughout the day.

  • Check-in, campus tours, and student resource fair, Donaghey Student Center Foyer, 8:15 – 9 a.m.
  • Breakfast, Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter Hall, 8:15 – 9 a.m.
  • Welcome, bursar, orientation leader fun, and financial aid, Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter Hall, 9:05 – 10:30 a.m.
  • Small Groups, 10:30 – 10:45 a.m.
  • UA Little Rock 101 Activity, Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter Hall, 10:45 – 11:10 a.m.
  • Academic College Breakout Sessions, Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter B (CBHHS), SSC Auditorium (CHASSE), and
  • Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter A (DCSTEM), 11:15 – 11:45 a.m.
  • Technology Session, Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter B (CBHHS), Student Services Center Auditorium (CHASSE), and
  • Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter A (DCSTEM), 11:45 a.m. – Noon
  • Transfer Student Session and CLC Session, Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter A and Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter B, Noon – 1 p.m.
  • Lunch and Registered Student Organization Fair, Trojan Cafeteria and Student Commons, Noon
