Policy
Any graduate student whose cumulative GPA on all courses taken for graduate credit falls below 3.0 at the end of a semester will be placed on probation. Students will be removed from probation when their cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above. Failure to make at least a 3.0 in each semester while on probation or receiving two or more C grades (or lower) during the probation period will result in the student being dismissed from the Graduate School. During their first semester on probation, students must meet with a Graduate School advisor in addition to their program advisor to develop a plan to regain good academic standing.
