Policy
All university employees are expected to dress professionally as appropriate to their respective roles. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is an educational institution. Teaching and learning occur both inside and outside the classroom on campus. Employees teach students how to present themselves properly by how the employees present themselves. Therefore, employee appearance should always qualify as professional. Questions about appropriate dress should be addressed to an employee’s supervisor. Vice chancellors will provide guidance as needed to supervisors.
