Policy
The vice chancellor for finance and administration is responsible for receiving preliminary requests for the assignment of university automobiles and providing recommendations to the chancellor each year that automobiles are available. Any person currently assigned a university car will be eligible for consideration for a new automobile when the current automobile reaches an age of four years or attains a mileage of 35,000 miles or more, whichever occurs first. The chancellor will review these requests for and assign any new automobiles available to the university.
