Purpose

This policy guides the adjustment of tuition and fees due to students withdrawing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock or dropping courses at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Policy

Any student who officially withdraws or drops a course from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock shall be entitled to an adjustment of tuition and fees, as follows:

  1. If a student withdraws or drops a course, prior to the first day of class, the tuition and fees associated with that course will be adjusted at 100%.
  2. Students deleted from their courses on the published university delete date(s)/payment due date(s) each semester will have the tuition and fees adjusted at 100%. If the delete date falls after the 100% adjustment period for a course, the 100% adjustment period will be extended through the delete date/payment due date.
  3. Students who withdraw or drop courses through the Office of Records and Registration or online will have their accounts adjusted according to the chart below.
Semester 100%
Sixteen-week courses (Fall & Spring) First through the tenth-class day
Ten to twelve-week courses First through the tenth-class day
Seven to nine-week courses First through the seventh-class day
Five- or six-week courses First through the fifth-class day
  1. Programs that have “Board Approved” special refund policies will supersede this policy.
