Master of Public Administration Early Entry Program

Graduate Early Entry Program

The Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program is excited to announce its new Early Entry Program. This is an opportunity for UA Little Rock undergraduate students from any major to get a head start on their graduate education – saving them both time and money. Qualified students can take up to 12 hours of MPA graduate courses during their senior year and count those hours toward both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

The MPA Program prepares students for professional management and leadership careers in government, nonprofit and community agencies and has been fully accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) since 1999.

Early Entry Program Requirements

UA Little Rock undergraduate students who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply for the MPA’s Early Entry Program and earn up to 12 hours of graduate coursework while completing their undergraduate degrees. Students must have:

  1. 1. Completed at least 75 hours of coursework at the time of application.
  2. 2. Have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
  3. 3. Completed 90 hours of coursework by the time the first graduate MPA course is taken.

This is a great opportunity to get a head start on completing a graduate degree, saving you both time and money in the process. Interested students should contact the MPA Coordinator, Dr. Jerry Stevenson (jgstevenson@ualr.edu) in Ross Hall 640 for additional information.
