The field of Public Administration covers a multitude of areas, just like our program. Our students are provided with professional management, analytical, and leadership skills, as well as the understanding of public policy issues needed for management and policy positions in national, state, regional, and local government, and the nonprofit sector. Learn more below.
Choosing a Program that fits your needs
We offer multiple types of programs to students, including early entry and certificate programs. If the traditional program isn’t for you, we understand. Learn more about our additional programs below.
JD/MPA Concurrent Degree Program
The Juris Doctorate/Master of Public Administration concurrent degree program is offered in collaboration with the UA Little Rock Bowen School of Law and the UA Little Rock School of Public Affairs. Students enrolled in the concurrent program may use specified courses to earn cross-credits that may be applied toward the fulfillment of both degrees.
Graduate Certificate Programs
Learn the curriculums necessary for your Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management or Conflict Mediation.
Master of Public Administration Early Entry Program
The MPA Program is excited to announce the Early Entry Program. This is an opportunity for UA Little Rock undergraduate students from any major to get a head start on their graduate education – saving them both time and money. Qualified students can take up to 12 hours of MPA graduate courses during their senior year and count those hours toward both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Alumni Spotlight
Our alumni make us look good. Whether they are elected officials, educators, attorneys, campaign consultants, managers, lobbyists, or business people, they are doing some amazing things and we want to highlight their many accomplishments (and perhaps brag just a little bit about having been a small part of helping them get where they are). Check out what some of our past alumni have been up to!
