Scholarship Deadlines

Spring 2024 Deadlines:

  • Incoming transfers and freshmen: Simply apply for admission and turn in all credentials by January 9, 2024, in order to be considered for possible merit awards. No scholarship application is required.
  • Document submission:
    • Students must submit any outstanding admission credentials to the Office of Admissions by April 1, 2024, in order for their award to disburse. Failure to complete this process will result in the cancelation of the scholarship(s) awarded.
    • Any required thank you letters must be submitted by April 1, 2024. Your scholarship award(s) will be canceled if we do not receive your thank you letter by this date. Letters can be emailed directly to our office at financialaid@ualr.edu as a Word Document. Students can access our Thanking Your Donor page for further guidelines and information.

Summer 2024 Information:

  • Institutional scholarships are for fall/spring courses only. There are no summer awards available.

Fall 2024 Deadlines:

  • Current and incoming students: The deadline to apply for general private and mentored program scholarships is March 1, 2024. The Donaghey Scholars Honors Program priority application deadline is Jan. 15, 2024. Applications are accepted through Feb. 15, 2024.
  • Incoming transfers: Simply apply for admission and turn in all academic credentials by August 1, 2024, in order to be considered for transfer awards; no scholarship application is required.
  • Incoming freshmen: Simply apply for admission and turn in all academic credentials by August 1, 2024, in order to be considered for Academic Merit awards; no scholarship application is necessary.
