UALR College of Business (COB) students will join administrators and faculty for a sales mixer from 5 – 7:30pm, Thursday, November 15 in the Atrium of the Reynolds Building.
Hosted by the Center for Professional Selling in partnership with the COB Center for Student and Career Services, the mixer brings together talented students who may be just beginning their job search or looking for that next dream job.
This is a speed mixer format, not your casual small group event, with the focus on exposing students to as many possible employers for one-on-one interaction during the time allotted. Students are encouraged to exchange business cards and resumes. Suggested attire is “best business.” Light refreshments will be served following the Dean’s Welcome by Dr. Jane Wayland, and door prizes will be given at the conclusion of the evening.
Free event parking is available at Open Lot 13 near the Jack Stephens Center located on West 28th Street across from the Reynolds Building. Handicap Accessible parking is on a first-come availability basis directly outside the front entrance to the College of Business, located inside the Reynolds Building.
Deadline to sign up: Friday, November 9 by 5p.m.
Deadline for resume submission: Monday, November 12 by 5p.m.
Business majors may sign up for workshops and events in the Center for Student and Career Services, or contact Shannon Gwinn at firstname.lastname@example.org or 501-916-3009. Employers can learn more about this event by also contacting the Center for Student and Career Services at 501-916-3009.
