Dr. Clive R. Neal studied mantle petrology at the University of Notre Dame. In the 1980s he was introduced to the study of the Apollo Moon rocks. He currently studies Large Igenous Provinces and the origin and evolution of the Moon.
In this lecture, Clive Neal highlights what we learned from the Apollo Space program and proposes a plan to use the Moon as a long term Solar System exploration program.
