College of Business students place first at PBL State Conference

PBL award 2020A trio of University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Business students have each placed first at the 2020 Arkansas Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) State Conference. Timothy Blake Hughes placed first in the Marketing Concepts category, Shibani Lal in the Job Interview, Business Presentation & Who’s Who category, and Pynshailang Nongsiej in the Computer Animation & Business Presentation category.

Through state-based competition at the spring State Leadership Conferences, members compete in events that test their business knowledge and skills. Top winners in each state are eligible to compete for honors at the National Leadership Conference each summer. The national conference in Salt Lake City will be held on June 24-27, 2020. 

Phi Beta Lambda is the college division of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and provides help and preparation to members for business-related careers.
