On July 23, top educators around the Sun Belt Conference were recognized as the league announced its 2nd annual Faculty Member of the Year Awards. Dr. Casey Rockwell, Assistant Professor of Marketing and Advertising at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Business, was named the 2020 Sun Belt Faculty of the Year. She and her achievements will be recognized at the Sun Belt Honors Banquet on October 27th, 2020.
This award recognizes a faculty member from each Sun Belt institution who displays valuable classroom skills such as developing relationships, being a good communicator and showing a passion for teaching, engaging and inspiring students, while also separating themselves from their peers outside the classroom by regularly attending athletics events and displaying enthusiasm for the athletics department.
