Beta Alpha Psi - LogoThe University of Arkansas at Little Rock chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) recently won 1st place in the BAP Southwest Regional Best Practices competition. First place regional winners will present at BAP’s Annual Meeting and will receive an additional monetary award. Winners are determined by a group of judges made up of board and Professional Partners members. Judges act independently of any student, college/university, and chapter affiliation.

“Our chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has been so instrumental to my development as an accounting major, providing me the much needed resources for me to perform my best,” said Aleigha Smith, President of the UA Little Rock BAP chapter. “Getting the honor to showcase what our chapter is doing to help our members was the greatest privilege; winning was just icing on the cake. I cannot wait to continue to represent our organization.”

“I am grateful to have been a part of this presentation,” says Stephen Malec, UA Little Rock Accounting student and member of Beta Alpha Psi. “I believe it was important for us to highlight some of the ways our chapter is involved with supporting students and the greater community here at UA Little Rock. It is wonderful to win first place for our region of BAP’s ‘Invest in Your Chapter’ competition and it is great to be a part of this Beta Alpha Psi organization!”
