Laurie Knight

Mrs. Laurie Knight has taught at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as an Instructor since 2004. She has a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with an Emphasis in Secondary Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Her master’s degree in liberal studies, with a focus on Health Education and Health Psychology, is also from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Courses she has taught at UA Little Rock include Substance Abuse & Addiction, Mental Health Education, Nutrition, Personal Health, Controversial Issues in Health Education, and Drug Education. She has also supervised undergraduate student teaching practicums.

Mrs. Knight enjoys serving as a volunteer coach for nonprofit youth sports organizations in her community. She lives in Benton with her husband, their two children, and their dog Wrigley.
