Laurie Knight has taught at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as an Instructor since 2004. She has a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with an emphasis in secondary education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Her master’s degree in liberal studies, with a focus on health education and health psychology, is also from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Courses she has taught at UA Little Rock include Substance Abuse & Addiction, Mental Health Education, Nutrition, Personal Health, Controversial Issues in Health Education, and Drug Education. She has also supervised undergraduate student teaching practicums.
Knight enjoys serving as a volunteer coach for nonprofit youth sports organizations in her community. She lives in Benton with her husband, their two children, and their dog, Wrigley.
