According to the Faculty Handbook, section 7, 50% of each college’s faculty members are required to attend and participate in the procession at each commencement.
Faculty are expected to wear academic regalia at commencement.
The Spring 2024 Commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 11, in the Jack Stephens Center.
The 9:30 a.m. ceremony will feature undergraduate students in the College of Business, Health, and Human Services, and undergraduate students in the Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
The 2:00 p.m. ceremony will feature undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education, Graduate Students in the College of Business, Health, and Human Services, and Graduate Students in the Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Remember that parking is an issue on campus and carpooling is recommended. The Provost’s Office will distribute a limited number of parking passes to each dean’s office. Please remind your faculty to park in Lot 16 and enter through the Cooperative Extension entrance.
