If you are interested in exposing your middle school and/or high school students to science and improving their reasoning skills, participating in the Ouachita Mountains Regional Science and Engineering Fair (OMRSEF) is a great place to start! The OMRSEF provides students with an opportunity to explore the exciting world of science and engineering and to meet other students who have similar interests. The OMRSEF is a great way of meeting some of the objectives outlined by many curriculum specialists!
When and Where
The 2023 OMRSEF will have two (2) separate fairs. The high school fair is scheduled for March 2, 2023. The middle school fair is scheduled for April 6, 2023. Both events will be held at the Mid America Science Museum in Hot Springs.
Important Dates and Deadlines for 2022-23
Finalists from each regional fair will be eligible to compete at the State Science and Engineering Fair.
International Competition
Two high school projects and two teachers will be selected to represent the Ouachita Mountains Regional Science and Engineering Fair at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Dallas, TX.
