The UA Little Rock Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships is excited to announce our brand new scholarship opportunity for incoming freshmen and transfer students who will begin at UA Little Rock this coming Spring, 2021. New Year, New Trojan will ensure that Pell-eligible students have little to no out of pocket expenses to attend UA Little Rock this coming spring 2021. Eligible students will be considered for an award that covers any portion of tuition, fees, on campus room & board that is not covered by federal, state and other institutional aid. Eligible students will be awarded automatically based on their financial aid package and admission application.
To be considered for the New Year, New Trojan award students must meet the following criteria:
- meet requirements for (unconditional?) admission
- be eligible for Title IV Federal Aid
- be a first time UA Little Rock freshman or transfer (excluding high school concurrent)
- be an Arkansas or Contiguous state resident
- accept all federal student loans, if applicable, prior to award being calculated
- Have all financial aid requirements fulfilled by January 19, 2021
- Must be full time(12 hrs per semester)
