A very limited number of graduate assistantships are available in the School of Business. Positions are competitive.
To qualify, students must be fully admitted (regular admission) to a Master’s degree program in business administration or business information systems. Students admitted with a provisional or conditional status or admitted in graduate certificate programs are not eligible.
Graduate assistantships provide a tuition scholarship, including out-of-state tuition, for up to nine hours a semester and a stipend. Students must carry a minimum course load of nine graduate hours each semester, stay in good academic standing, and engage in 20 hours per week of on-campus assistantship duties assigned by the Associate Dean. If a graduate assistant’s GPA drops below 3.0 at any time, his/her assistantship, including stipend and tuition scholarship, will be discontinued.
Graduate assistant positions are posted on the Human Resources website. Only complete applications including all required supporting documents will be considered for positions. Applications will only be reviewed when positions are available.
