Official Positions

The elected, official position of officers shall be:



The President shall have active management, meeting with UA Little Rock officials and representation of the organization at all major events of the Students Affected by Military and campus events.



The Vice President shall act under the direction of the President and in the absence of the President shall perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President. The VP shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the President may from time to time prescribe. The Vice-President shall act as presiding officer of board meetings.

As Secretary, this person shall keep accurate and detailed records of all meetings and affairs, transmit all official organization correspondence, and coordinate preparation and distribution of information and materials.



The Treasurer shall receive and distribute organization funds in accordance with University and State of Arkansas regulations, make financial reports at appropriate meetings, create an organizational budget for the semester or year and coordinate fund- raising activities.

Faculty/Staff Advisor(s)

Travis Weigel,

The Faculty/Staff Advisor(s) shall maintain communication and meet with the officers regularly; maintain awareness and approval of all financial expenditures; ensure that the organization is operating in conformity with the standards set forth by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Note: It is recommended that the Board be as diverse as possible with respect to military branch and components representation or a board member be knowledgeable of all branches. In order to adequately represent our Students Affected by the Military population, it is recommended that one member be a graduate student.
