Applying for scholarships at UA Little Rock is an important part of your college journey. Incoming freshmen and transfer students only need to apply for admission to UA Little Rock in order to be considered for most of our institutional scholarships (institutional scholarships are the ones that come from the university).
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Department of Music has many scholarships for our students. Priority is given to music majors. Scholarship award conditions include meeting academic and enrollment requirements and also meeting musical performance standards. Continuation of a music scholarship award is dependent upon evaluation of student work by music faculty, maintaining a good GPA, fulfilling public performance requirements, and making progress in a degree program at UA Little Rock.
Get Started
You must complete and submit a FAFSA each year that you would like to be considered for Financial Aid and institutional scholarships.
An audition is required for consideration for a departmental scholarship. The live auditions are scheduled on the UA Little Rock campus in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall of the Fine Arts Building. Specific audition times will be given to students after a completed application is submitted.
Please email Stacy Pendergraft or Dr. Kris McAbee if you have any questions.
