The UA Little Rock Percussion Ensemble will present a dynamic concert including historical, contemporary, and traditional percussion music. The performance will feature Music for Pieces of Wood by Steve Reich and memory by Evan Chapman. Also on the program are Charleston Capers by George Hamilton Green (with Dr. Justin Bunting on xylophone), an arrangement of the traditional West African rhythm Djole, and a live improvisation by the ensemble. This is not an evening to be missed!
