“I started working with CINS during my sophomore year at UA Little Rock. As a pre-med student, I wanted to do research that would impact people’s lives and health in a positive way. I began reading about what kind of things nanotechnology can be applied to and how it’s shaping the future of technology, and realized that this was the kind of research I wanted to do. Over the past year, the staff and faculty have become a second family to me; they’re always there to teach me more about what I’m doing and correct my path.”
