UA Little Rock to host training seminar for Little Rock Marathon participants

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host a training seminar for all faculty, staff, alumni, and students participating in the 16th annual Little Rock Marathon March 3-4.

Tom and Hobbit Singleton, who coach training programs for the marathon, will lead the workshop at noon Thursday, Jan. 25, in the Donaghey Student Center Leadership Lounge.

The Singletons will focus on the “Couch to 5K” program, which specializes in helping new runners who want to compete in the Little Rock Marathon’s 5K race.

Additionally, the coaches will answer questions about the other distance races, which include the 10K, half marathon, and full marathon.
