EARTHtalk! – Dr. Jackie Langille

 

 

Dr. Jackie Langille  is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at the University of North Carolina-Asheville. She started studying the Himalayas as part of her graduate work at Central Washington University in Washington State.

In this lecture, Dr. Langille discusses the formation of the Himalya and the causes for crustal extension in the mountain range.
