Our division provides key, critical services that support the university’s growth and its mission. The division is proud of its accountability and transparency to the people of Arkansas and its carefully managed stewardship of the university’s financial resources. We set a high bar for cost containment and for quality service and operations. The division is also proud of its part in recruiting and retaining the best faculty and staff to a welcoming and diverse environment on a beautiful and growing metropolitan campus located in the state’s capital city.
Our Units
Through communication, initiative, and integrity, the women and men of the Office of Finance (AVCF) are dedicated to providing the highest level of service and support to the university community and its constituency in financial planning, operations, and reporting. The Office of Finance is composed of the Bursar’s Office, Financial Services, and Procurement Services.
Facilities Management is comprised of many different shops and crews that make this campus an enjoyable place to work, live, and play. Each of these shops, and the crews that represent them, contributes to the success of Facilities Management. They are all needed to ensure this campus is at its best.
The Department of Human Resources team department’s mission is to provide strategic and high quality services to students, staff and faculty in support of the university’s mission to improve the human condition and be a transformative force in the world. This includes leadership in labor and Employee Relations, personnel management services, staffing, compensation, benefits administration and consultation on all workforce issues.
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) strives to create an environment where the campus community can feel safe to learn, work, live, and visit. We are a law enforcement agency dedicated to providing a full range of police services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Information Technology Services is committed to providing technology solutions that enable student success and support the university community. Their vision is to be a center of excellence dedicated to proactive leadership, collaboration, innovation, and reliable client services.
The Office of Budget directs the development of the annual university budget, provides information for internal planning and decision-making, and facilitates the reporting requirements of the university.
Contract Services plays a critical role in the campus community. The contract review manager reviews, negotiates, and executes contracts and agreements in consultation with General Counsel for the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas acting for and on behalf of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Our Location
The Office of Finance and Administration is located in the Charles W. Donaldson Student Services Center (SSC) at the center of campus. Our building is in the roundabout at the intersection of Campus Drive West and West 32nd Street and is also connected to the Donaghey Student Center by a breezeway on the second floor.
