Parker Taylor

Since graduating from UA Little Rock, I have obtained my Master’s in Human Evolution and Behaviour from University College London (2015). I wrote my dissertation on the evolution of primate natal coats using Bayesian phylogenetic comparative methods.  I have just recently accepted the Doctoral Academy Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for this fall.

I have had a variety of jobs since getting my Master’s. I was a court clerk for just over a year, and then I worked as a Lab Tech for Flat Earth Archeology. Currently, I am working for the Department of Transportation as a Research Assistant in the System Information and Research Section. Right now I’m identifying the areas of Arkansas where there is a high proportion of senior drivers to ensure that the roadway retroreflectivity in those areas meets the needs for aging eyes.
