Spring 2018 Gradfest Was An Amazing Success

Spring Gradfest 2018 was an amazing success. Over 200 seniors joined the UA Little Rock Alumni Association, setting a new record for memberships during Gradfest. “For me it makes the journey so worth it knowing that I have done all I can to succeed,” said current Student Government President Brian Gregory, “Being a UA Little Rock graduate and a UA Little Rock Alumni member is something I will treasure for the rest of my life.” Gregory was one 11 students who joined as a Life Member during Grad Fest.

“UA Little Rock makes an impact on every student that sets foot on campus. We are grateful for these students that are already making a commitment to give back and stay connected to their fellow Trojan alumni,” said Danielle Hendrix, Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Membership.

Membership in the Association offers a variety of benefits including networking events, local and national discounts, and updates on UA Little Rock news. Members also have the exclusive opportunity to keep their “ualr.edu” email address with access to their Google drive and cloud storage. A portion of every membership benefits the UA Little Rock Alumni Association scholarship fund, which is on pace to award over $150,000 to students in the coming academic year.

“UA Little Rock has renewed – and expanded – its commitment to its alumni,” said Ryan Miller, Director of the UA Little Rock Alumni Association, “We are already making plans for events across the state of Arkansas and in strategic cities across the country. We look forward to engaging our alumni with current students and helping transition the Class of 2018 to become successful graduates.”

Seniors who have not yet joined – or anyone who would like to reconnect to UA Little Rock – can join the Alumni Association through one of three ways:
