Disability is an aspect of diversity that is integral to our society and to the UA Little Rock campus community.
The Disability Resource Center collaborates with students, faculty, and staff to create usable, equitable, inclusive, and sustainable learning environments.
Faculty can get details on providing accommodations, such as accommodations, and setting up an extended time exam in BlackBoard. This faculty handbook provides an overview of important information.
Creating and maintaining usable, equitable, inclusive and sustainable learning environments is a shared responsibility of the campus community. Designing learning environments with usability in mind benefits all students at UA Little Rock. The DRC collaborates with faculty to ensure instruction and course design do not result in barriers to students’ inclusion or accurate assessment of achievement.
The DRC also promotes and facilitates awareness and access through training, partnerships, innovative programs and accommodations. We would love to come speak to your department to answer questions or do an inservice on the topic of your choice. We encourage you to call and ask questions at any time.
