Payroll is in the processes of preparing W-2 tax forms, which will be made available on or before Jan. 31 to employees. At that time, the W-2 forms will be mailed to those who did not consent to receive them electronically. Employees who consented to electronic receipt may access the W-2 through BOSS and an email will be sent when those forms are ready.
Major tax changes approved by Congress became law on Dec. 22, 2017. The new withholding tables have been received and will be effective with the Feb. 15 payroll. In addition, the 2018 W-4 Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate is not yet available from the IRS. Employees wishing to change their withholding allowances may use the 2017 form until the 2018 form is available. The 2017 form may be accessed at either irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w4 or in person in the Payroll Office. For advice on changing your allowances please contact your tax advisor.
As always, feel free to contact the Payroll Office at email@example.com or 501-916-3136 if you have questions or need assistance.
