Class Workshop or Presentation (Library Instruction)
The Library's research and information literacy program supports academic success and lifelong learning through critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and information seeking skills. Librarians teach practical skills and conceptual knowledge related to information organization, discovery, research methods and ethical use of information. Pop-Up @TheLibrary
Pop-up @TheLibrary is a low stakes, high impact engagement opportunity for students, faculty and staff. Share information, recruit, create, provide hot chocolate, read a poem, or demo in a highly visible space in the library. We provide the space and you show up and engage. Student organizations should seek sponsors' approval. Send us a graphic and we will even share on our website and social media! We provide 5-foot table/chairs and news highlight on library website and Facebook. 48-hours advance notice is preferred. Scheduling is confirmed at the discretion of the library.

Library Orientation & Tour
The Library hosts 30 minute tours designed to highlight library spaces, services, and collections. Most tours are student-led so they can help their peers pick out the best study places like the quiet floor, the bustling group collaboration spaces and many more types of learning spaces. See locations of computers, printers, scanners, and photocopiers; learn about technology like mobile printing; and meet the helpful library staff. We host scheduled drop-in tours during the first two weeks of school. Feel free to invite guests or friends to come along. We also provide virtual tours.
