The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions is a program designed to discover promising young opera singers and assist in the development of their careers. The Auditions take place in 40 Districts and 12 Regions throughout the US and Canada all run locally by volunteers.

The Arkansas District Auditions highlight the most talented singers from Arkansas and beyond, and send two singers on to the regional Midwest Auditions, and from there to New York for the finals. Additionally, encouragement and audience favorite awards are given at the Arkansas District Level.

Come listen to some of the most outstanding young artists in the nation. Entry to the public is free of charge! Please join us for a reception following the competition.
