The UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law Center for Racial Justice and Criminal Justice Reform together with the Arkansas Judicial Council hosted a Judicial Listening Series from March 28 through April 14. Events were held in each corner of the state and Little Rock, bringing together communities in these areas and the judges serving them. Virginia Vanegas and Keeli Wallace, two students at the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, have been elected to positions on the National Latino Law Student Association (NLLSA) Executive Board.
Each year, the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law Student Affairs Office selects a Student Organization of the Year. Selection is based on their community involvement, on-campus engagement, and volunteerism.
The 2021 Student Organization of the Year is OutLaw Legal Society. They also received the award for 2019.

Bowen School of Law’s Center for Racial Justice and Criminal Justice Reform announced that Walmart Inc. has contributed $210,000 to the Center to develop an enhanced community policing project. The program aims to foster greater collaboration between local law enforcement and the communities they serve and protect.
