The Sustainability Committee holds annual grant competitions to promote the principles of sustainability on the UA Little Rock campus. We accept submissions for innovative research and teaching proposals for grants.
All full and part-time faculty, instructors, students, and staff may apply. Student submissions must have a faculty sponsor.
The maximum award amount is $2,500. However, proposals requiring lesser amounts can enter as well. The number of awards and amounts are selected by the Sustainability Committee. Funds may be used for travel, educational materials, equipment purchases, field trips, or guest speakers. All grant funds are available for the next academic year and must be spent by the end of the fiscal year.
- Projects should directly benefit the UA Little Rock campus community
- Recipients must share project results with the campus community
- Method of the presentation can vary (e.g., demonstration at Earth Day, public lecture, presentation at Research Expo, etc.)
