Please allow me to strongly recommend a musical going on now at the Weekend Theater called Caroline, or Change. Set in 1963 in Louisiana, it is a heart-wrenching tale of race relations that you won’t soon forget. It touches on the intersectionality of bias, and the complex dynamics of a poor black woman working for a middle class Jewish family in the south. It ends June 22, 2014.
