College Choice’s rankings were designed to help prospective students make a the right choice about where to invest their time and money in earning their degree. Schools and programs were evaluated based on publicly available information about academic quality, student satisfaction, reputation in the field, and return on investment.

The Master of Science in Information Quality program formed in 2006 was first of the three programs to be offered online starting in 2007. These programs use a “blended” online format where each course is scheduled for a campus time and location, but it is also webcast live to remote students. Webcasting is done using Blackboard Collaborate technology. The webcasting classrooms are setup with video and sound equipment allowing remote students to interact with both the instructor and students in the on-campus classroom.
