Protect Your Account: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Your UA Little Rock account security is important to us.

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to a resource such as an application, online account, or a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

MFA is a core component of a strong Identity and Access Management (IAM) policy. Cyber attackers are focusing on accounts without MFA setup to gain access to university resources.

Why MFA?

MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account, making it much harder for unauthorized individuals to access your information. By requiring two forms of identification, such as a password and a code from your phone, MFA significantly reduces the risk of cyberattacks.

If you do not have MFA set up on your account, we strongly recommend that you follow these Setup multi-factor authentication instructions as soon as possible.

Campus users who do not currently have MFA implemented will be contacted by IT Services to set it up on their accounts.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact IT Services.
