Active Directory

The Active Directory domain (UALR or ad.ualr.edu) provides authentication and endpoint management for user accounts and devices such as desktop computers or servers. Access to many university services requires an Active Directory account—also known as the NetID 2.0 account—and all university-owned Windows devices should be joined to the Active Directory domain.

Windows computers joined to the Active Directory domain may manage installed applications via the Software Center app. Some applications—including anti-virus software—may be automatically installed.

Eligibility

All current members of the university community automatically receive Active Directory accounts. Early or sponsored access to university services can be provided.

Support

If you are having trouble logging into a service with your NetID 2.0 (Active Directory) account, ensure your username and password are correct.
