On behalf of the Ottenheimer Library, I welcome you and hope your enjoy your visit! Since webpages are often the first place that is checked for information, I thought I would share with you how to access the Guest WiFi and how to obtain a library card here.
First of all, here is some basic information on how to access the Guest WiFi:
Basic Instructions To Access the Guest WiFi Network:
To connect to the UALR-Guest network using laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other compatible wireless devices:
On your wireless-enabled device, select the UALR-Guest wireless network.
Register a temporary guest account using your email address and cell phone number.
*Note-if you are using a device issued by your high school, you might not be able to access the guest WiFi. In this case it is recommended for you to use a hotspot, if possible

How to Obtain a Ottenheimer Guest Library Card:
Students with a valid ID (or parent or guardian’s ID) may apply for limited library privileges. These privileges include:
- Check-out up to 10 items with a loan period of 28 days
- In-library Guest Wi-Fi for personal devices
- In-library access to library databases and e-resources via Wi-Fi (guest logins are available at the front desk)
- View your current checkouts through the catalog (click on “My Account“)
- All accounts are subject to the additional circulation policies below
