It’s time for advising again! Remember, you will not be able to register for courses without first meeting with an advisor. Registration for Spring 2021 begins October 26.
Most Spring courses at UA Little Rock will be online, similar to Fall 2020. This includes “asynchronous” courses (that is, courses without scheduled online meetings – sections numbered 99_) as well as “synchronous” courses (courses with online meetings, numbered 9S_). Course descriptions for Philosophy and Religious Studies courses will be available soon.
If you’ve been advised in the Philosophy Department before – or if you haven’t, but you know you want to meet with a specific professor – email you professor or click on one of the links below to see their calendar and schedule an appointment (make sure you’re signed into your UALR account before clicking):
- Jan Thomas: click here
- Jana McAuliffe: click here
- Michael Norton: click here
- Keith Robinson: click here
If you don’t see a time that works for you on your advisor’s calendar (or if they don’t have time slots set up), you can contact them directly to schedule an appointment. You can also contact Brandy Cochran (email@example.com) to schedule advising. If this is your first time being advised by our department, email Brandy or Dr. Norton (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you’ve completed less than 45 credit hours, you need to be advised at the Trojan Academic Advising and Support Center. Someone from that office will contact you if they haven’t yet (or you can give them a call at 569-3386).
