Mimimum hours to graduation are 120 total hours (After Fall 2012) OR 124 total hours (prior to Fall 2012)

Graduation hours must include 45 upper level hours (3000 / 4000 level)

Students must complete all requirements toward their core, major, minor and second language competency. These combined may not reach the 120 hours required for graduation. Some students may be eligible for electives outside their major or minor. Others, (e.g., transfer students, those who changed their major/minor), may exceed the minimum 120-hour requirement.

Practicum, Internship or Independent Study may not be included in the eForm without prior, written, approval from the instructor. Interest in such courses may be expressed in the Notes section. Forms with these courses and without prior approval, will be returned.

A degree in Psychology requires the following (please check each of the boxes):*

Second language proficiency (1311, 1312, 2311 which must be taken in sequence) or a Cultural Awareness Requirement

A grade of “C” or greater is required in all PSYC courses counted for the major

A major and minor OR two majors

Statistics & Methods (PSYC 3435) requires ONE of these prerequisites: MATH 1302, MATH 1321 or equivalent, with the grade of “C” or better.

The following courses are taken sequentially: PSYC 3435-Statistics and Methods, PSYC 3341 or 3441-Research Methods & PSYC 4392 or 4492-Capstone
