The official grand opening of the new UALR Student Services Center was held on September 7. Chancellor Joel E. Anderson, along with Student Government Association president Rizan Mohsin spoke about the positive impact the almost 50,000 square foot building will have on the campus. Dr. Don Bobbitt, president of the University of Arkansas System, University of Arkansas Board of Trustees Chair Mike Akin, and UA Trustee Dr. Stephen Broughton were also on hand to congratulate UALR on this additional step to increase student success. A reception followed.
