Green Dot Program Launch

Green Dot at UALR has officially launched. A program aimed to promote safety and community, Green Dot is a violence prevention initiative that encourages members of a community to be active bystanders in an effort to eliminate instances of power-based violence. The program operates on the premise that “no one has to do everything, but everyone has to do something.”

Chancellor Joel E. Anderson and the senior leadership team distributed cookies and information about the program to students in the Donaghey Student Center on Tuesday, February 19. Activities will continue throughout the week, including Karaoke Night on Thursday, February 21 in the Donaghey Student Center. For more information and a list of upcoming events, please visit the Green Dot web site.
